Scholarships

International Entrance & Performance Award

Save up to CAD $18,000 for a four-year degree!
International students admitted to select programs in the Spring (Jan.) 2027 term with an admissions GPA of 2.50 or higher in required courses (as determined by CapU), will automatically receive this award


Award details

  • A tuition credit of CAD $1,800 minimum per term when enrolled in 12.00 or more credits and eligibility requirements are met.
  • Award amount is CAD $150 per course credit.
  • Maintain a CapU term GPA of 3.50 or higher and register in at least 12.00 course credits each term (excluding your final term) to automatically renew the award every semester.
  • Earn up to CAD $18,000 toward a 4-year degree.

Here's how you can earn the award

  1. Select an eligible program
  2. Apply to CapU through Education Planner BC
  3. Complete the application by submitting all required documents
  4. Meet admission requirements and receive a Letter of Offer
  5. Pay tuition deposit
  6. Receive Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL)
  7. Apply for a study permit
  8. Complete online course registration in a minimum of 12.00 course credits

Once you complete these steps before the deadlines noted below, no additional scholarship application is required. If you meet the award requirements, it will be automatically applied as a tuition credit based on the number of credits you are registered in.


Qualifying deadlines for the Spring (Jan.) 2027 term

  • Complete application to CapU by September 30, 2026
  • Pay Tuition Deposit by Oct 15, 2026
  • Register for courses by November 30, 2026
