The University Transfer: Bachelor of Education – Secondary Program at Keyano College prepares future educators to teach junior high and high school students in specialized subject areas. Students complete up to two years (60 credits) of university transfer coursework before moving on to a partner institution, such as the University of Alberta, to complete the final two years of their Bachelor of Education degree.

Academic Requirement

Minimum Level of Education Required: To be accepted into this program, applicants must have a Grade 12 / High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum average of 60% with no mark below 50% in:

  • English 30-1
  • Three subjects from Groups A or C
  • Subject from Groups A, B or C
  • Math 30-1 or 30-2 strongly recommended
