Program Overview

The Nursing degree program is designed to prepare students to provide nursing care in a variety of settings. Graduates will work within the scope of nursing practice and in accordance with the regulations of the College of Nurses of Ontario. Nursing students will be able to care for individual clients or groups, including family members and significant others. Students will make clinical decisions and exercise judgement in giving care to clients. Graduates will be eligible to write the National Council Licensure Examination - Registered Nurse (NCLEX - RN) to achieve professional status of Registered Nurse in Canada.

Scholarships

We are pleased to announce a special $2,000 scholarship for international students who enroll in one of the following programs at our Chatham Campus:

  • Early Childhood Education (K240)
  • Occupational Therapist Assistant/Physiotherapist Assistant (K893)
  • Developmental Services Worker (K200)
  • Electrical Techniques (K731)

This scholarship will be applied toward student’s tuition fees after the 10th business day of the semester, provided students are fully enrolled in one of the eligible programs.

To take advantage of this opportunity, please follow these steps:

  1. Confirm student’s offer and pay the first deposit of $3,000 as soon as possible. This will allow us to issue PAL to student which is required for Canadian study permit application.
  2. Apply for Canadian study permit promptly to avoid delays in visa processing.
  3. Pay the full tuition for the Fall 2025 (25F) semester as soon as possible.
  4. Update student’s offer status to “Pre-registered” by clicking “Visa Received” in the OCAS portal once you receive student’s study permit approval letter.


In addition there is One semester of free accommodation at GEM (on-campus student residence) will be provided to the first 400 new international students enrolled in the Fall 2025 semester at our Windsor campuses.

Note: Seats are limited, and scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Taking early action will secure student’s place and increase student’s chance of receiving the scholarship.
