Program Overview
Accounting is at the heart of all business decisions and encompasses a vast range of careers, from traditional auditing to global management consulting. To reflect this, our experienced team has created a wide range of modules structured to allow you to gain a thorough understanding of accounting without committing to a career as an accountant. Alexander College, in collaboration with Canterbury Christ Church Business School have strong professional links and provides great opportunities to gain work experience to prepare students for the future. With this specific programme, students will also gain exemptions from professional examinations with the leading accounting bodies, such as ACCA.
Teaching and Learning
The course is taught through a diverse mix of learning environments including tutor-led, independent student-led and group projects. Lectures, workshops/seminars and group projects account for 9 hours of contact time per week and students will spend a minimum of equal hours in essential independent study including research, online work and preparation for assessments. Students will benefit learning from guest speakers and real life case studies, which broadens knowledge of the industry and ensures graduates are work-ready and informed of the latest developments in the field.

The scholarships are performance-based.
