Gain a solid understanding of how businesses operate and the key issues you will face as a future decision-maker in business with AUT's Bachelor of Business degree.

The Bachelor of Business is informed by the latest business research and employer feedback, and your final year includes invaluable workplace experience, an applied project or a new business venture.  There's a strong focus on social impact and the positive difference you can make.

It’s a highly flexible degree. You can complement your business studies with other subjects you’re passionate about, from tourism to journalism or sport.

Are you logical, analytical and fascinated by how incentives affect human behaviour? Study economics in the Bachelor of Business degree.

The discipline of economics is founded on the three fundamental fields of microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics. Concepts from these areas can be combined to provide answers to some of the most pressing problems facing the world, such as poverty, unemployment, climate change, crime and inequality. Alternatively, they can be applied to the commercial sphere, and can address issues like domestic and international competition, consumer and firm behaviour, world trade and finance, and economic growth and development.
