Huron University College at Western University Overview

Established in 1863, Huron is the founding institution of Western University and one of Canada’s oldest universities. Huron educates students to be Leaders with Heart, which means our highly personalized model of education attracts students who are drawn to service. While these young leaders come to Huron from every corner of the world, they share the belief that they can and will make a difference.

Our vision of ethical leadership underlies all Huron’s programs of study. We incorporate the traditional benefits of a liberal arts education with business and ethics to equip our graduates with the holistic skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the future global economy.

At the core of the Huron experience are small-sized and highly interactive seminar-style classes, rather than the large lecture hall environments common at most other undergraduate programs
