Foundation in Business

The Foundation Programme is designed for students who either do not meet the requirements for direct BSc entry (level of English, school qualifications, etc.) or would like to gain additional confidence and skills in their subject area and general academic practice prior to the start of their degree course.

The Foundation Programme in Business provides an introduction to the academic disciplines of Economics, Accounting, Finance, Management, and Marketing, as well as their overlaps and interfaces, and guarantees progression to BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance, BSc (Hons) Business Management BSc (Hons) Business Management with Business Analytics, BSc (Hons) Business Management with Accounting and Finance, or BSc (Hons) Business Management and Media (subject to meeting the required criteria).

The BSc (Hons) Business Management with Business Analytics degree provides graduates with a strong foundation in a range of analytics techniques that can help organisations to reach well-informed decisions. The modules taught on the programme have a practical focus, as the aim is to provide preparation for a wide range of careers.

The programme helps students become proficient in using a range of analytical tools and techniques and to acquire problem-solving skills. The scheme provides a wide variety of options that open up different career choices, providing high expected returns in terms of professional and vocational relevance.

    Lancaster University Leipzig – Master’s Scholarships

    Lancaster University Leipzig is offering a limited number of scholarships for students interested in pursuing postgraduate studies in Germany for the October 2026 intake. This exclusive opportunity significantly reduces the tuition fee for selected Master’s programs.


    Scholarship Benefit

    • Tuition fee reduced to €16,000 for the full programme
    • Total savings of €9,000 (approximately 35% discount on standard tuition fees)

    The scholarship is applicable to the following 1-year Master’s programs:

    Eligibility Criteria
