Program Overview

The W-Course (Business Track) at Mediadesign University of Applied Sciences Studienkolleg is a preparatory program specifically designed for international students who aspire to pursue undergraduate studies in business-related fields at German universities.


The W-Course focuses on building essential knowledge in core business disciplines while simultaneously strengthening German language skills to meet university admission standards. It is an ideal pathway for students whose previous academic qualifications are not directly equivalent to the German Abitur but who wish to study programs such as Business Administration, Economics, Management, or related fields.

 

Academic Curriculum

The curriculum is structured to prepare students both academically and linguistically. Key subject areas typically include:

  • Mathematics for Business and Economics – Developing analytical and quantitative skills necessary for business studies
  • Economics & Business Studies – Introduction to fundamental economic principles, market structures, and business operations
  • German Language Training – Intensive language instruction aimed at achieving the required proficiency level (usually B2/C1)
